Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer with strong Siemens NX skills to support the design and development of high-performance vehicle projects in the UK. This hands-on role suits engineers from motorsport, high-performance automotive, or specialist vehicle backgrounds.

You will lead design efforts, produce precise models and drawings, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing and production teams to deliver production-ready solutions on time.

Qualifications

• Senior design experience in mechanical design.
• Strong Siemens NX CAD skills.
• Experience designing complex vehicle components or assemblies.
• Background in motorsport, niche vehicles, or high-performance engineering.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture.
• Ability to meet demanding project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex mechanical and vehicle components using Siemens NX.
• Produce high-quality 3D models, detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing data.
• Develop innovative engineering solutions to meet performance, packaging, weight and durability requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are fit for purpose and production-ready.
• Manage design changes, resolve technical issues and support design reviews throughout development.
• Ensure designs meet engineering standards, performance targets and deadlines.
