Job summary
Light & Wonder is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop mechanical components and production equipment for gaming hardware. You will create detailed drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation while supporting products through the full lifecycle from concept to production launch.
The role requires strong SolidWorks skills, experience with tooling and fixtures, and collaboration with manufacturing teams to deliver cost-effective manufacturing solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- SolidWorks experience with part modelling, assemblies, and BOM management.
- Experience designing tooling, fixtures, jigs, and production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and production equipment using SolidWorks.
- Create detailed drawings, BOMs and engineering documentation.
- Support products through lifecycle from concept to production launch and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to deliver cost-effective solutions.
- Perform tolerance analysis and design reviews.
