Kier Group plc is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our Kier Design team, based in Liverpool or London. You will lead mechanical design efforts, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and ensure solutions meet codes and standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and sustainable design practices, with a strong focus on quality control, documentation, and clear communication across the business. A Chartered status or progression toward it is expected.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartered status.
• Extensive experience in mechanical design and building services.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Experience applying quality procedures and document control in engineering design.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality mechanical designs and specifications meeting client requirements.
• Lead all professional services related to mechanical design for allocated projects and clients.
• Represent mechanical engineering in project design meetings and approve concepts.
• Deliver coordinated design solutions compliant with building codes and standards.
• Promote sustainable design and solve technical and logistical challenges.
