CHPK, a leading consultancy specialising in fire safety engineering across the built environment, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of mechanical systems for building services projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.

The role requires strong technical leadership, experience in the services sector, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and IES, with familiarity with UK building codes. Collaborative work with diverse stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in services sector, preferably London.
• Knowledge of UK building codes and sustainability standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and IES.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of mechanical systems for building services projects (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
• Conduct feasibility studies and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and oversee project execution to meet quality and safety standards.
• Monitor progress and budgets, identify risks, and contribute to tender preparation and client presentations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and promote energy-efficient practices in designs.
