Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a large reputable consultancy. The role suits a motivated engineer eager to develop within a dynamic, high-performing environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on MEP projects.

You will work with experienced engineers, support delivery under the Lead MEP Engineer, and contribute to design and coordination of engineering solutions across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of CDM regulations and requirements.
• Experience using Hevacomp and/or thermal modelling software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work closely with experienced engineers and project teams to support the delivery of allocated MEP projects under the guidance of the Lead MEP Engineer. You will contribute to the design, coordination, and successful execution of engineering solutions across a variety of projects.

Key Requirements

• A good understanding of CSM/CDM regulations and associated requirements.
• Experience using Hevacomp and/or thermal modelling software for building services design.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and effectively.
• A proactive, self-motivated individual who can work independently while contributing positively to team objectives.
