Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
• Significant experience in a Building Services Consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, energy-efficient building design, and UK regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of building services projects across sectors (commercial, residential, healthcare, education, mixed-use).
• Develop energy-efficient HVAC, domestic water, and sustainable building services solutions.
• Prepare design calculations, specifications, reports, and technical documentation.
• Manage projects through all RIBA stages from feasibility to commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors and other disciplines.
• Attend meetings and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Undertake site inspections and monitor installation quality and compliance.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure designs comply with current regulations and sustainability targets.
