Job summary

Code Resources LTD in Greater Manchester is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design and delivery of Building Services on large-scale projects. You will work within an experienced multidisciplinary team and take responsibility for design, calculations, specifications, and coordination with other engineering disciplines.

• Strong UK Mechanical Building Services design experience.
• Experience across multiple RIBA stages.

• Experience within complex or highly regulated sectors would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver mechanical systems for Building Services projects within a multidisciplinary team.
• Perform calculations, prepare specifications, and conduct design reviews.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, civil and specialist teams.
• Engage with clients and manage design delivery responsibilities as projects mature.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services

Greater Manchester | Hybrid Working | Up to £60,000 + Benefits

The Role

You will be responsible for the mechanical design and delivery of Building Services projects, working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary engineering team. The position will include mechanical services design, calculations, specifications, design reviews, multidisciplinary coordination and client interaction, with opportunities to take increasing responsibility for project delivery.
