Job summary

Code Resources LTD in Greater Manchester is seeking a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design and delivery of complex Building Services projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

The role offers hybrid working with a strong project portfolio across regulated sectors. You will mentor engineers, perform design reviews, and ensure projects meet technical and commercial standards, with clear growth toward the Principal level.

Qualifications

• Strong UK Mechanical Building Services design experience.
• Experience delivering projects through multiple RIBA stages.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and building services systems.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring engineers.
• Strong client-facing and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Experience in technically complex sectors is advantageous.

Principal Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services

Greater Manchester | Hybrid Working | Up to £70,000 + Benefits

The Role

You will take a leading role in the mechanical design and delivery of complex Building Services projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

You will be responsible for technical delivery, design reviews, coordination, mentoring engineers and helping ensure projects are delivered to the required technical and commercial standards.
