• Ideally 3 years of experience in Building Services Design.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you an experienced Building Services design engineer with a passion for your job? An attractive opportunity has become available with a growing M&E contractor.

Responsibilities

1. Interpret project requirements from drawings and briefs.
2. Liaise with Project Managers, clients, and sub-contractors to ensure smooth design and installation processes.
3. Attend design team and project meetings.
4. Monitor design progress in accordance with the programme and deadlines.
5. Produce design calculations and analysis, both manually and using software packages.
6. Create design sketches.
7. Maintain a flexible attitude towards projects and design approaches.

Requirements

1. Ideally 3 years of experience in Building Services Design.
2. Successful experience in the technical management and development of commercial projects (offices, housing, schools, hospitals, etc.).
3. Experience with AutoCAD and preferably 3D modelling software.
4. Broad knowledge of mechanical design, with hands-on experience being desirable.
5. A creative approach to work.
6. Desire to work, learn, and share ideas with some of the best consultants in the country.
7. Educated to HND/HNC level or equivalent as a minimum.
