Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a senior mechanical building services engineer in the UK to lead the design and delivery of complex projects. You will guide heating, cooling, ventilation, energy performance and building controls while mentoring delivery teams across integrated disciplines.

The role requires Chartered Engineer status, strong leadership and client‑facing abilities, with a focus on delivering high‑quality, safe and compliant outcomes within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑discipline design teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and technical delivery of building services projects.
• Translate client requirements into clear technical strategies and briefs.
• Act as discipline enabler and project technical leader across commissions.
• Plan resources, monitor progress and deliver to programme and budget.
