Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical building services and standards.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional expertise.
• Understanding of relevant legislation and contract forms.
• Experience leading significant single- and multi-disciplinary design.
• Sound commercial judgement including fee development and risk.
• Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and delivery of building services projects.
• Translate client requirements into clear technical strategies and briefs.
• Act as discipline lead or project technical leader on commissions.
• Plan resources, monitor progress and deliver to programme and budget.
• Coordinate interfaces across architecture, structures and other disciplines.
• Build client relationships and present recommendations effectively.
• Shape bids and delivery strategies, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Develop capability through coaching and direction to colleagues.
• Support business growth by strengthening client engagement.
