Job summary

PT Renewables ? is seeking an Intermediate / Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our in-house design team. You will deliver major commercial, healthcare, education, industrial and public-sector projects from concept through to construction, with opportunities to lead designs and mentor junior engineers.

You’ll take real technical ownership on projects and collaborate with clients, with Senior level mentoring and cross-disciplinary coordination using Revit/BIM.

Qualifications

• Minimum background in Mechanical Building Services Design.
• Experience in consultancy or design & build environments.
• Proficient with BIM tools and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical building services from concept to detailed design.
• Deliver HVAC, heating, cooling, LTHW, CHW and public health systems.
• Carry out heating, cooling, hydraulic and pipe sizing calculations.
• Design plantrooms and select mechanical equipment.
• Produce specifications, reports and technical schedules.
• Coordinate designs across Revit / BIM and multidisciplinary teams.
• Attend client, design and site meetings.
• Support projects through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Review technical submissions and resolve contractor queries.

Intermediate / Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Intermediate / Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join a growing in-house design team delivering major commercial, healthcare, education, industrial and public-sector projects.

This is a role with real technical ownership. You’ll work across projects from concept through to construction, with the opportunity to lead designs, work directly with clients and, at Senior level, mentor junior engineers.

• Consultancy or Design & Build experience
• Confident with Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience with MagiCAD, Hevacomp, IES VE or TAS
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC and mechanical systemsAbility to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
