Job summary

Bimplus in London is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join its growing Building Services team. You will work alongside senior engineers on technically challenging projects spanning commercial fit-outs, student accommodation and healthcare diagnostics.

With 2+ years' post-graduate experience, you will contribute to concept through to completion, model designs in Revit, prepare drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years post-graduate experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Experience on commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
• Revit and AutoCAD experience beneficial; IES VE advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Mechanical Building Services projects from concept to completion.
• Assist with mechanical design, specifications, drawings and technical documentation.
• Provide technical input across multidisciplinary projects.
• Liaise with clients and design teams to support project delivery.
• Maintain high technical standards and ensure designs comply with codes and regulations.

Intermediate Mechanical Engineer- Building Services

With a portfolio spanning commercial fit-outs, student accommodation, education, healthcare diagnostics and scalable multi-site developments, they are now looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer with 2+ years' post-graduate experience looking to accelerate their career within a technology-enabled consultancy. You'll work alongside experienced Directors and senior engineers on technically challenging projects, gaining exposure across mechanical design, project delivery and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Mechanical Building Services projects from concept through to completion
• Assist with Mechanical design, specifications, drawings and technical documentation
• Provide technical input and support across multidisciplinary projects
• Liaise with clients and wider design teams to support successful project delivery
• Maintain high technical standards and ensure designs comply with relevant codes and regulations

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Building Services Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years' post-graduate experience within an engineering consultancy
• Experience across a range of projects, including commercial, residential or mixed-use developments
• Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD beneficial
• Experience with HVAC calculation software such as IES VE advantageous
• Strong technical understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design
• Commercial office project experience desirable
• Excellent problem-solving, coordination and communication skills
