Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Systems Engineer in the UK to lead MBSE-driven systems engineering across the product lifecycle. You will define system requirements, develop architectures, manage interfaces, and ensure end-to-end traceability through digital engineering practices.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex systems meeting customer, regulatory, and business needs. The role emphasizes MBSE modeling with SysML, model governance, and conducting rigorous trade

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
• Typically senior level of engineering experience with significant systems engineering exposure.
• Experience applying MBSE methodologies in complex programs.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes.
• Knowledge of requirements management and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities from concept through verification and validation.
• Develop and maintain system requirements, functional architectures, and physical architectures.
• Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, allocation, and traceability.
• Conduct system integration, verification, validation, and acceptance activities.
• Support technical reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and PRR.
• Develop and maintain MBSE models using SysML and industry-standard modeling tools.
• Create behavior, structure, requirements, parametric, and interface models.
• Establish model governance, standards, and best practices.
• Maintain digital thread and digital continuity across engineering disciplines.
• Support model-based verification and validation activities.
• Define system architecture and interface specifications.
• Perform trade studies and design analysis to support architecture decisions.
• Evaluate technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
