Job summary

Expleo is seeking a Principal MBSE Engineer to lead model-based engineering across next-generation combat air programmes. You will drive digital engineering adoption, develop architecture and verification models, and mentor MBSE practitioners within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

The role focuses on applying MBSE, digital thread concepts, and integrated modelling to enable traceability, testing, and secure delivery across the lifecycle of complex aerospace systems.

Qualifications

• Significant MBSE experience on complex aerospace/defence programmes.
• Proven ability to develop architecture and verification models.
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead MBSE across aerospace and defence programmes with client collaboration.
• Develop and maintain system architecture models and behavioural models.
• Establish modelling standards, governance and best practices.
• Support Digital Engineering strategies and roadmaps.
• Define modelling approaches supporting requirements, architecture, verification and validation.
