Job summary

Expleo Group is seeking Mission Systems Engineers to support the development of mission architectures and integrated combat air capabilities for GCAP. The role centers on creating and linking sensing, communications, survivability, information management and effect generation into integrated mission solutions.

You will influence future capability development through the development, integration and optimization of advanced sensing architectures and MBSE, contributing across the full lifecycle

Qualifications

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related STEM discipline.
• Applications are welcomed from individuals with significant demonstrable experience who don’t hold formal qualifications.
• Professional registration or working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mission system requirements, architectures and engineering artefacts.
• Support capability decomposition from operational needs to system-level solutions.
• Define interfaces across sensing, communications, survivability and platform systems.
• Support mission-level integration and verification activities.
• Conduct architecture studies, trade-off analyses and capability assessments.
• Support digital engineering and model-based development approaches.
• Contribute to operational analysis and concept development activities.
• Support programme reviews and customer engagements.
• Collaborate across industry partners, suppliers and customer organisations.
• Support technology maturation and capability demonstration programmes.
