University of Strathclyde is seeking a Senior Technologist in Materials to lead high-value research and knowledge exchange initiatives within NMIS/AFRC. The role focuses on industrial application of advanced materials processing, testing, and digital manufacturing.

You will develop and manage knowledge exchange programmes, apply for externally funded projects, and collaborate with industrial partners to translate research into practical impact.

Formación

• Hold a good honours degree and a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
• Proven track record in applied research and/or industrial delivery in forging or forming technologies.
• Eligible for UK security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead high-value research and knowledge exchange programmes.
• Translate research into impact through process innovation, materials testing & characterisation, and digital manufacturing.
• Lead technical work packages and manage externally funded projects.
