Zusammenfassung

Sizewell C Company is seeking a Senior Materials Technician to join the Civil Works Alliance for the Sizewell C project. You will lead materials testing and QA in a UKAS-lab environment, ensuring ISO 17025 compliance and high safety standards.

You will mentor junior technicians, coordinate testing programmes, maintain calibration schedules, and produce accurate material reports to support earthworks and enabling works.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a UKAS-accredited laboratory environment.
• Strong understanding of ISO 17025 requirements.
• Experience training, mentoring or supervising others.
• Excellent communication and data reporting skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Aufgaben

• Leading and undertaking laboratory and site-based materials testing
• Managing testing resources and daily laboratory activities
• Ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and UKAS accreditation requirements
• Producing accurate reports and material compliance summaries
• Coordinating external laboratory testing and reviewing results
• Supporting audits and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintaining calibration schedules and testing equipment
• Training and developing technicians and junior team members
• Supporting large-scale earthworks trials and ongoing quality testing programmes
• Promoting a strong culture of safety, quality and collaboration
