Job summary

SOCOTEC is seeking a Field Technician to support the Infrastructure division in the UK. You will be part of a team, but work with independence when necessary, performing materials testing on site and in the laboratory, and contributing to QA-compliant reporting.

You should have a background in site and lab testing of construction materials, knowledge of UKAS practices, and hold a full UK driving licence. CSCS is desirable and can be facilitated by us where needed.

Qualifications

• Health & safety focused approach
• Full UK driving licence
• CSCS card desirable but we can facilitate this for you

Responsibilities

• Sampling and testing of construction materials on site and in the laboratory
• Completion of test sheets, including all calculations
• Production of reports in line with QA systems
