SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive Laboratory Technician to join our Infrastructure division. You will support construction materials testing, ensure UKAS and quality standards compliance, and work across projects to test samples.

The role requires GCSE English and Maths, hands-on lab experience with SHE procedures, and strong attention to detail and teamwork. We offer training, career development, and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths; evidence of literacy and numeracy skills.
• Laboratory testing experience with SHE/quality procedures knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, testing and disposing of construction materials samples.
• Completing test sheets, calculations and reports.
• Maintaining equipment calibration and documentation.
