Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Materials Technician (Field & Laboratory) to support construction materials testing across site and lab environments. You will work independently and as part of a team, applying UKAS-accredited laboratory practices.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Knowledge of UKAS accredited laboratory practices.
• Ability to undertake physical work including manual handling of samples.
• Understanding of Company QHSE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Sampling and testing of construction materials on site and in the laboratory.
• Completion of test sheets, including all calculations.
• Production of reports in line with QA systems.

Skills

Full UK driving licence
