You will guide test plans, support production, and resolve manufacturing issues while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Chemistry / Materials Science / aerospace engineering education is essential.
• Knowledge of polymer material science and processing.
• Experience in industrial engineering, preferably aerospace.
• Experience with quality systems, specifications, standards, etc.
• Excellent reporting and project management skills; proficient English communication.
• Team player with proactive attitude and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Development of manufacturing processes related to transparent polymer and adhesive materials.
• Qualification of materials and processes to meet requirements.
• Lead thin film polymer coatings projects.
• Lead material obsolescence and REACh affected material replacement projects.
• Interact with leadership and report progress to senior managers.
• Provide specialist support to programmes and resolve manufacturing issues.
