Job summary

Charles Hurst Belfast Toyota is seeking a qualified Senior/Master Technician to diagnose, repair and lead technical efforts in a busy workshop in Belfast. The role focuses on advanced diagnostics, mentoring colleagues and delivering first‑time fixes for prestige vehicles.

You will work Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday mornings, supported by a strong aftersales leadership team. The package includes a 5‑day week, on‑site working, a base salary in the £36k–£40k range with a £6,600 bonus

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years qualified experience, preferably with a premium brand.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and high-level mechanical knowledge.
• Experience as a Master Technician or senior level role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve the most complex vehicle faults to a high standard
• Provide technical expertise and mentoring to other technicians in the workshop
• Prepare and quality check new and used prestige vehicles for sale
• Support in maintaining workmanship and customer satisfaction levels

5 day working week hours: Monday–Thursday 8.15–5pm, Friday 8.30–4. Saturday 9–1pm on a rota basis (1 in 4).

OTE up to £46,600, including £36,000-£40,000 basic per annum + £6,600 bonus potential

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior/Master Technician to enhance our growing team, with a focus on advanced diagnostics, technical leadership and right first‑time fixes here at Belfast Toyota. The position is offered on a full‑time basis (Monday to Friday) with alternating Saturday morning working. Here at Charles Hurst, you will be reporting to the accomplished aftersales manager, where you will be given ongoing support to ensure that you have the tools needed to perform at the very best. Skills And Experience Required

• Minimum of 3-5 years qualified experience, preferably with a premium brand
• Exceptional diagnostic skills and advanced mechanical knowledge
• Previous experience as a Master Technician or equivalent senior level role
• Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repair or similar
• Competent in use of diagnostic tools and equipment
• Hold a current and clean Full driving licence
