Job summary

Charles Hurst Belfast is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our Seat/Cupra/BYD teams in a modern workshop. This role offers stability, progression, and access to manufacturer‑accredited training with opportunities in Hybrid and EV development.

You can grow toward Senior, Diagnostic, or Master Technician levels as you progress. You’ll work with a supportive team, use the latest diagnostic tech, and benefit from a structured pay scale with bonuses and comprehensive benefits as

Qualifications

• Skilled Vehicle Technician or Mechanic with experience in servicing and repairs.
• Experience with diagnostics using modern equipment.
• Willingness to undertake manufacturer‑accredited training and EV/Hybrid development.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Service vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Carry out authorised repairs with accuracy and care.
• Complete warranty repairs with proper documentation.
• Road test vehicles to confirm repairs.
• Complete all paperwork to a high standard.

OTE up to £42,600 (including £34,000 basic + £6,600 bonus potential)

Flexible hours available including 4 day working week. Monday–Thursday 8:15–5pm, Friday 8:30–4pm, Saturday 9–1pm (1 in 4)
