Job summary

Copello, a technology-focused manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced senior production planner or scheduler to join their team in the UK. You will develop and maintain production plans and master schedules to balance demand with capacity and materials.

You will collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Sales and other stakeholders, use ERP/MRP systems, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement while ensuring on-time delivery and appropriate inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, production control or scheduling.
• Experience in manufacturing or technology-focused environments.
• Understanding of ERP/MRP, scheduling and capacity planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and time-sensitive work.
• Excellent cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans and Master Production Schedules (MPS).
• Balance customer demand, forecasts, backlog, inventory and capacity.
• Use ERP/MRP systems to support planning.
• Identify capacity and material constraints and develop solutions.
• Monitor production performance and delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Sales and stakeholders.
• Support scenario planning, schedule changes and new product introductions.
• Maintain inventory and safety stock levels.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the planning process.
