The Role

The company is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, smart, curious, articulate, and detail-oriented senior marketing professional to fill a full-time position, starting immediately. This person will focus part of their time on strategic engagement with a multistakeholder initiative they coordinate for the pharmaceutical industry, so previous communications experience in this sector would be advantageous.

They seek a highly competent marketing and communications professional. You will report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with the Management team, other team members, clients, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

• Developing communication strategies and plans for a multi-stakeholder initiative in the pharmaceutical industry, acting as the Project Management Office.
• Chairing and coordinating communications working groups.
• Planning and executing marketing campaigns.
• Managing partner engagement and approval processes.
• Leading the creation of marketing materials.
• Managing partner/client websites.
• Overseeing social media presence.
• Leading media outreach efforts.

This is a client-facing role requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills, confidence in engaging with individuals at various management levels, and experience working in diverse institutional settings such as SMEs, corporations, NGOs, and government agencies. The team works remotely, so the applicant must be comfortable working autonomously, managing their own time, prioritizing tasks, generating ideas, thinking proactively, and solving problems.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ideally 5-8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry communications is preferred.
• Knowledge of sustainability and circularity in packaging is advantageous.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders with varying views.
• Ability to articulate a commercial marcomms strategy at C-suite level.
• Proven experience in developing marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Ability to create communication assets.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial attitude.
• Skilled in developing pitch decks and presentations.
• Capable of conceptualizing content for marketing materials.
• Design flair.
• Experience with Monday-type platforms.
• Proficiency in WordPress and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and targeted campaign development.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent English language skills; additional languages are a plus.
