The Role

The company is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, smart, curious, articulate, and detail-oriented senior marketing professional to fill a full-time position, starting immediately. This person will focus part of their time specifically on strategic engagement with a multistakeholder initiative they coordinate for the pharmaceutical industry; previous communications experience in this sector would be advantageous.

They are seeking a highly competent marketing and communications professional. You will report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with the Management team, other team members, clients, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Collaborating with partners across diverse industry sectors and supply chains to address their strategic communications needs. Specifically, developing the communications strategy and plan for a multi-stakeholder initiative in the pharmaceutical industry, for which the company acts as the Project Management Office.
  • Chairing and coordinating communications working groups.
  • Planning and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Managing and coordinating partner engagement and approval processes.
  • Leading the production and development of marketing materials.
  • Managing partner and client websites.
  • Overseeing their partners' presence on social media platforms.
  • Leading media outreach efforts.

This is a client-facing role requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills, confidence in engaging with individuals at various management levels, and experience working in diverse institutional settings such as SMEs, corporations, NGOs, and government agencies. The team is small and remote, so the applicant must be comfortable working autonomously, managing their time, prioritizing tasks, generating ideas, thinking proactively, and seeking solutions independently.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Ideally 5-8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience working on communications within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and circularity in packaging is advantageous.
  • Experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders with differing and competing views.
  • Ability to articulate a commercial marcomms strategy at C-suite level.
  • Proven experience in developing marketing strategies and executing campaigns.
  • Skill in creating communication assets.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Proficiency in developing pitch decks and presentations.
  • Ability to conceptualize content for marketing materials.
  • A flair for design.
  • Experience with Monday.com platforms.
  • Proficiency in WordPress and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and developing targeted campaigns to maximize engagement.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent English language skills; additional language skills are a plus.
