A prestigious global publisher is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead product marketing strategies for digital solutions in the Higher Education sector. This permanent role offers hybrid working and requires a candidate with strong B2B marketing experience, commercial acumen, and line management skills.
We have a new role of Senior Marketing Manager with a prestigious global publisher that offer digital solutions for the Higher Education sector internationally. This role involves driving the product marketing strategy of digital products aimed at International Schools and the global Higher Education market. The role is permanent and full-time, and offers flexible hybrid working (with 3 days per week required in the London office), a competitive salary and fantastic benefits.
The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for devising and delivering strategic and creative product marketing campaigns for predominantly digital products in order to generate sales leads as well as direct line management for two members of the marketing team. Responsibilities will include (amongst others):
·Devise and drive the global product marketing strategy and develop highly creative and strategic annual marketing plans to achieve sales targets for the International Schools and Higher Education markets
·Create and execute marketing plans, track performance and monitor effectiveness
·Develop strategies for growing customer data
·Provide best possible product training, sales tools and lead generation at different points of the sales cycle
·Articulate product knowledge, market positioning, pricing and opportunities to the sales teams
·Bring market and competitor insight back to the business
·Use commercial acumen to prioritise activities across different products, subjects, markets and channels
·Conduct regular customer visits to develop market and competitor awareness
As part of a small, friendly and collaborative team the successful Senior Marketing Manager will be both hands-on whilst also highly strategic and a mixed-marketing skillset. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering successful B2B digital product marketing campaigns, hitting targets and managing a varied and busy workload, with knowledge of, or experience in the EdTech or digital product space, and an interest in the Higher Education and/or International Schools sector. You will have great commercial awareness, an entrepreneurial spirit and strong communication skills. Experience in line management is also important. If this sounds like you, do get in touch!
