Job Description

As an experienced Marine Trades Broker / Underwriter, this role offers the opportunity to work from home full-time, servicing clients in the UK and across Europe, with travel to locations such as Malta, Cyprus, and Greece.

You will be in a senior position, leading a new business team for a specialist, independent Marine Insurance Broker with established binders/facilities for Marine Trades, Marine Yachts, Marine Liability, and Commercial Craft.

This role involves a 'light touch' management style, providing the platform to grow the existing book efficiently and rapidly. There is significant potential for expansion across the UK, Ireland, and wider Europe, promoting unique products and leading a highly effective team.

Responsibilities include managing and growing an existing team, developing new Marine Trades retail and wholesale business in the UK and Europe, and devising strategies to expand market footprint. Full autonomy to manage operations and contribute ideas to senior leadership is provided.

The position offers a competitive salary and package, with options for full-time remote work or office-based in Greece, including coverage of international travel. An attractive bonus and commission structure are also included.

Candidates should have a background in building relationships with marine businesses or experience as a Wholesale Broker/Underwriter.
