Job Description:

As an experienced Marine Trades Broker / Underwriter, this is your chance to work from home full-time and not only see clients in the UK but also expand into EU markets and travel to meet clients in places such as Malta, Cyprus, and Greece.

You will be in a senior role, heading up a new business team, representing a specialist, independent Marine Insurance Broker with binders/facilities in Marine Trades, Marine Yachts, Marine Liability, and Commercial Craft business.

This is a 'light touch' management role, offering the opportunity to grow the existing book efficiently and quickly. The company has significant untapped potential, and this role will enable you to travel across the UK, Ireland, and wider Europe, promoting unique products and leading a highly effective team.

You will have full autonomy to manage and grow your team, contribute ideas to senior leadership for expanding the company's footprint across the UK, Ireland, and European markets, and enjoy international travel.

As the Commercial Marine Manager, using Acturis, you will lead a small team of Marine Brokers/Account Executives and serve as the main liaison between the team and the Directors. A proven track record in developing Marine Trades retail and wholesale business in the UK and Europe is essential, along with strategic plans to expand your footprint.

The package includes a competitive salary, options to work from home full-time or from offices in Greece, with international travel covered, and an attractive bonus/commission structure.

You should have experience building relationships with marine businesses exclusively or have operated as a Wholesale Broker/Underwriter.
