Full Job Description

As an experienced Marine Trades Broker / Underwriter, this is your chance to work from home full time, serving clients in the UK and expanding into EU markets. You will have opportunities to travel to meet clients in locations such as Malta, Cyprus, and Greece.

You will hold a senior position, leading a new business team for a specialist, independent Marine Insurance Broker with established binders and facilities covering Marine Trades, Marine Yachts, Marine Liability, and Commercial Craft sectors.

This role offers a 'light touch' management style, providing the platform to grow the existing book efficiently and rapidly. The company offers significant growth potential across the UK, Ireland, and wider Europe, with opportunities to promote unique products and lead a highly effective team.

In this position, titled Commercial Marine Manager, you will have full autonomy to manage and develop your team, contribute ideas to senior leadership on expanding the company's footprint across UK, Ireland, and Europe, and travel internationally.

You will have access to tools like Acturis, lead a team of Marine Brokers/Account Executives, and serve as the main liaison between your team and the Directors. A proven track record in developing Marine Trades retail and wholesale business in the UK and Europe is essential, along with strategic thinking to expand market presence.

The package includes a competitive salary, full-time remote work or office-based in Greece, comprehensive international travel coverage, and an attractive bonus/commission scheme.
