Job summary

Teledyne Raymarine is seeking an experienced electronics design engineer to join our project teams and drive the next generation of marine electronics. This senior position involves collaborating with mechanical, PCB and software staff to craft robust solutions for challenging products used in boats and water environments.

You will guide junior engineers, design and verify circuits, and maintain thorough schematic documentation while preparing hardware specifications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering required.
• Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics.
• Power supply topology and design experience required.
• Familiarity with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.
• Background in consumer electronics and high-volume manufacturing desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical and software teams to design Raymarine products.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers in the electronics design process.
• Design and verify electronic circuits, test and debug PCBs.
• Create schematics and maintain documentation control.
• Prepare and participate in hardware technical specifications.
• Keep up with new tools/technologies and recommend them when relevant.
• Ensure designs meet applicable standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with production to bring designs into volume manufacture.
