Job summary

AIG is seeking a Senior Marine Claims Adjuster to lead complex marine liability and cargo claims handling for major blue‑chip clients. You will manage end‑to‑end claims, assess policy language and regulatory considerations, and work with underwriters and brokers to drive favorable outcomes.

You will mentor junior colleagues, contribute to training and best practices, and support the UK Head of Marine Claims with performance reporting and cross‑team initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Marine liability and cargo claims.
• Policy language interpretation skills.
• Awareness of legal/regulatory requirements for marine insurance.
• Experience acting on claims audits and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage lead claims within authority levels.
• Coach junior team members and share technical guidance.
