Job summary

SCOR in London seeks a Senior Claims Analyst focusing on marine lines (Hull & Machinery, Cargo) to independently review, adjust within authority, and route (re)insurance claims per policy terms and regulatory expectations.

You will manage a low-to-mid complexity caseload, deliver client-focused service, and escalate complex issues to Claims Experts or Management while supporting the claims portfolio and transformation journey.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in claims management, Marine lines of business.
• Experience with claims governance, controls and QA.
• Ability to identify complex cases and escalate as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform FNOL review on incoming claims for assigned accounts/Lines of Business.
• Refer higher-complexity losses to a senior Claims Expert for assessment/adjustment.
• Retain low-to-mid complexity losses for adjustment and ongoing management.
• Delegate low complexity claims to Technical Accounting for processing.
• Review contracts/policies to confirm coverage under the policy.
• Assist in monitoring and performance of the claims portfolio.
