Qualifications

• Relevant Marine insurance claims experience within the Lloyd's/London Market.
• Strong understanding of policy coverage analysis and reserving principles.
• Experience managing lawyers, surveyors, loss adjusters and other third-party service providers.

Responsibilities

• Adjusting, assessing and managing assigned Marine claims within delegated authority.
• Reviewing coverage positions and establishing appropriate reserving throughout the lifecycle of a claim.
• Managing Marine Cargo, Liability, Project Cargo, Specie or related claims from notification through settlement.
• Supporting the handling of claims arising from War & Terrorism products and Specialty Reinsurance portfolios.
• Liaising with brokers, policyholders, service providers and market stakeholders.
