Job summary

Hydrogen Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead a high-mix, low-volume operation delivering highly engineered components for healthcare, industrial and defence sectors. You will drive safety, quality, delivery and cost performance while developing a capable manufacturing team.

The role requires Lean/CI expertise, capacity planning and readiness for new products in a regulated environment, with oversight of CAPEX and budgets.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading manufacturing teams in a complex environment.
• Improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity.
• Strong grounding in Lean/Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Manufacturing Team Leaders to build a high-performing organisation.
• Deliver against Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity targets.
• Oversee resourcing, capacity planning and manufacturing flow across current and future demand.
• Embed Lean, Continuous Improvement and structured problem-solving on the shop floor.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness for new products and tech transfers.
• Manage budget, CAPEX and cost within your area.
