Job summary

Unknown client in the UK is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead and transform their manufacturing operations. You will report to the MD and shape strategy across Manufacturing, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Quality and Operational Improvement to meet customer requirements and business goals.

You will oversee a facility with low‑volume electronic assembly, cable/wiring, clean room, box‑build and product testing, managing electronics procurement, metrology and component

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing/operations.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing environment.
• Experience purchasing electronic components and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations and strategy to ensure safe, compliant production of high‑quality instrumentation.
• Oversee production planning, capacity planning and resource allocation.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and reporting for data‑driven decisions.
• Drive Lean, productivity improvements, waste reduction and cost optimization.
• Lead NPI and process scale‑up, and transitions from engineering to manufacturing.
• Manage supply chain, inventory, logistics and supplier performance for continuity of supply.
• Ensure regulatory and safety compliance across manufacturing and supply chain.
