Job summary

Jonathan Lee Group is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Alcester to support the Manufacturing Manager and engineering team. The role involves driving continuous improvement, implementing Lean manufacturing, and providing technical support to customers and colleagues on site.

You will lead a technical engineering team, resolve engineering issues, and contribute to the site’s EHS model while understanding the tooling processes for each product.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Engineering Leader or equivalent position.
• Technical manufacturing experience and ability to resolve engineering problems.
• Ability to lead a technical engineering team.
• Experience implementing Lean manufacturing within an organisation.
• Knowledge of manual tooling processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manufacturing Manager and the wider Engineering Team.
• Provide technical support to customers and the Engineering Team.
• Assist with delivering the EHS model across the site.
• Resolve technical engineering issues when required.
• Drive continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with implementing a Lean manufacturing culture across the site.
• Understand the tooling processes required for each product.
