Job summary

Jonathan Lee is recruiting an Engineering Team Leader in Alcester to support the Manufacturing Manager, drive continuous improvement and Lean adoption, and provide engineering support.

You will lead a technical team, resolve complex engineering issues, and help deliver EHS initiatives across the site. The role suits someone with leadership experience in a technical manufacturing environment.

Hours are Mon-Thu 07:30-16:30 and Fri 07:30-12:30; salary up to £60,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Engineering Leader or equivalent position.
• Experience in a technical manufacturing environment.
• Confident in resolving technical engineering problems.

Engineering Team Leader

Alcester

Monday to Thursday – 07:30 to 16:30 & Friday 07:30 – 12:30

Up to £60,000 – Dependent on experience

Our client is a precision engineering specialist that manufactures custom products to the energy, defence and aerospace industry sectors. They are currently seeking experienced Engineering Team Leader to join their team.

As an Engineering Team Leader, you will be supporting the Manufacturing Manager, drive continuous improvement activities, assist with implementing a Lean manufacturing culture, provide technical support to the wider team and to resolve any technical engineering issues.

Engineering Team Leader Responsibilities:

• Support the Manufacturing Manager and the wider Engineering Team
• Provide technical support to customers and the Engineering Team
• Assist with delivering the EHS model across the site
• Resolve technical engineering issues when required
• Drive continuous improvement activities
• Assist with implementing a Lean manufacturing culture across the site

Engineering Team Leader Requirements:

• Previous experience working in an Engineering Leader or equivalent position
• Experienced working in a technical manufacturing environment
• Must be confident in resolving technical engineering problems
• Must be able to lead a technical Engineering Team
• Experienced in implementing a Lean manufacturing culture within an organisation
• Must be a team player
• Experience working within either energy, aerospace or defence sectors would be advantageous

This Engineering Team Leader position is based in Alcester and is commutable from Pershore, Evesham, Studley, Redditch, Worcester, Stratford-upon-Avon and Droitwich.
