Leonardo UK Ltd in Luton is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive the front-end manufacturing activities, transitioning new products from design into manufacture and shaping process capability. You will lead DfX input, resolve production issues, and support manufacturing maturity reviews within a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• HND (or higher) in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. electronics, mechanical), or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Excellent practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles.

Responsabilités

• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, designing and testing methods and equipment.
• Support Manufacturing Maturity Reviews and governance through Lifecycle Management.
• Build prototype products, write work instructions and train staff.
• Resolve routine to complex production issues and bottlenecks on the shop floor.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency via capacity analysis, simulation planning and layout improvements.
