Moog invites applications from an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead machining operations and NPI activities for aerospace components. The role centres on delivering high-precision manufacturing processes using Siemens NX, DFx input, and advanced lean methods.

Qualificações

• Significant Manufacturing Engineering experience in a precision machining environment.
• 5 Axis Milling and/or Mill turn background with advanced CNC programming using Siemens NX.
• Strong knowledge of DfM, PFMEA, GD&T and process optimisation methodologies.
• Experience leading NPI programmes from concept through to production.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineering colleagues.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Desirable Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
• Vericut experience.
• Exposure to DFSS, Zero Defects and advanced lean methodologies.
• Exposure to EDM, honing, lapping, grinding, flow deburring, anodising and heat treatment processes.
• Strong Siemens NX experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Exposure to advanced manufacturing processes including automation.

Responsabilidades

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Essential Significant Manufacturing Engineering experience within a precision machining environment.
• 5 Axis Milling and/or Mill turn Background Advanced CNC programming expertise using Siemens NX.
• Strong knowledge of DfM, PFMEA, GD&T and process optimisation methodologies.
• Experience leading NPI programmes from concept through to production.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineering colleagues.
