Job summary

FRP Group seeks a Manager in our Restructuring team to deliver complex restructuring, turnaround and insolvency solutions for a range of clients.

You will lead high-impact engagements, manage senior stakeholders, and contribute to growth through strong client relationships and market insight.

You will mentor junior team members and ensure work complies with professional standards, delivering practical, value-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree educated with professional qualifications (CII/CPI preferred).
• Deep expertise in restructuring, turnaround, and insolvency.
• Experience in corporate restructuring in professional services.
• Strong knowledge of UK insolvency law and frameworks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of restructuring and insolvency engagements across sectors.
• Provide strategic advice and practical solutions for distressed businesses.
• Oversee administrations, pre-packs, liquidations and CVAs.
• Lead corporate transactions including negotiations and sale documentation.
• Perform detailed financial analysis, cash-flow forecasting and recovery planning.
• Develop and implement tailored strategic recovery plans.
• Engage with banks, PE, investors and legal advisors; collaborate with teams.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with professional standards.
