Job summary

South Norfolk and Broadland Councils are seeking a Senior Manager for Transformation, Portfolio & Change to lead a diverse portfolio of change programmes and shape the organisation’s future. You will lead a high-impact PMO, influence strategic decisions and ensure the organisation embraces innovation, technology and data-driven improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale organisational change and tangible benefits.
• Qualified in project, programme or portfolio management (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2, MSP).
• Strategic thinker with strong operational delivery and financial management abilities.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with stakeholders at all levels.

We're looking for an ambitious and inspirational Senior Manager for Transformation, Portfolio & Change to lead a diverse portfolio of transformational change programmes and help shape the future of our organisation.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll work with senior leaders, service teams and key partners to deliver programmes that improve customer experience, modernise services, enhance efficiency and realise measurable benefits. You'll lead a talented Programme Management Office (PMO), influence strategic decision-making and ensure the organisation continues to embrace innovation, technology and data-driven improvement.

About You

We are looking for an experienced transormation leader with a strong track record of delivering large scale organisational change and tangible benefits within complex environments. Holding a recognised project, programme or portfolio management qualification, you will be able to come strategic thinking with strong operational delivery. You will be skilled in in leading and influencing teams, managing performance and programme finances, and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

With excellent communication and analytical skills, you will be able to translate complex priorities into clear plans and drive successful outcomes across the organisation.
