Job description

Role Overview

The Development Strategic Projects team is responsible for raising funds for transformational projects and ensuring best-in-class stewardship of major Tate supporters.

This key role will lead Strategic Projects fundraising efforts, maximizing income for various strategic initiatives and campaigns. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Development and other teams to implement effective strategies through a comprehensive programme of cultivation and stewardship of major donors.

Candidate Profile
  • Proven success in fundraising or donor development, securing gifts of £500,000 or more.
  • Exceptional donor stewardship skills and an understanding of the complexities involved in major donor relationships.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships, coaching and influencing colleagues and volunteers to achieve results.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, including experience with budget management.
  • Creative and flexible approach to challenges, with a proactive use of Tate's vision to communicate compelling support cases.
  • Commitment to promoting equality and diversity principles within the team.
