Job summary

TPF Recruitment, the leading accountancy practice recruiters in the South, are delighted to be supporting a growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice with the recruitment of a Senior Manager to lead its Surrey based accounting and tax team. As Senior Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Surrey client portfolio and accounting team.

• ACA or ACCA qualification with post-qualification experience in practice.
• Experience managing a client portfolio and leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and UK tax legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Surrey accounting team.
• Manage day-to-day client portfolio delivery across accounts, tax and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance on accounting, tax and compliance matters.
• Review work to ensure high technical standards and timely delivery.
• Support new business opportunities and proposals.
