TPF Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a growing Chartered Accountants firm in Wokingham to appoint an Accounts Senior Manager. You will manage a diverse client portfolio of limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, leading a small team and delivering proactive client advisory.

The role emphasizes development, reviewing work of junior staff, and contributing to firm-wide initiatives. A strong background in accounts, tax, and client service is essential for progression within the practice.

Qualifikationen

• ACA / ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
• Previous experience as a Client Manager, Accounts Manager, or Team Leader
• Strong working knowledge of accounts preparation, management accounts, tax, and VAT
• Previous experience reviewing work prepared by more junior members of staff
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Aufgaben

• Managing a varied client portfolio, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and management accounts
• Overseeing accounting preparation, bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Preparing and submitting corporate and personal tax returns
• Providing excellent client service and acting as a key point of contact for queries
• Supporting partners on ad hoc projects and contributing to firm-wide initiatives
• Helping to develop and maintain strong client relationships to support business growth
