Job summary

TPF Recruitment is partnering with a well established accountancy practice in Epsom to recruit an Assistant Manager / Manager to join their friendly and supportive team. You will manage a portfolio of clients, oversee accounts and tax work, and support junior team members.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with solid UK practice experience, strong client relationships and the ability to drive deadlines.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong UK practice experience with accounts and tax.
• Ability to manage client relationships and deadlines.
• Experience mentoring junior staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering accounts and tax work on time.
• Review year-end accounts for various client structures.
• Oversee bookkeeping, VAT and compliance tasks as required.
• Support tax planning and advisory work for diverse clients.
• Mentor junior team members and oversee workflow deadlines.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to growth initiatives.
• Audit experience is advantageous but not essential.
