Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with significant post-qualification experience in practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and UK tax legislation.
• Experience managing a client portfolio and leading a team.
• Excellent client relationships and communication skills.
• Proactive, collaborative leadership with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Surrey accounting team.
• Own a portfolio of clients and ensure work is delivered accurately and on time.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide value-added services.
• Review accounts, tax and compliance work.
• Provide technical guidance on accounting, tax and compliance matters.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and tax legislation.
• Manage workflow, deadlines, budgets and portfolio performance.
• Support new business opportunities and proposals.
• Collaborate with audit colleagues and assist with audits.
• Oversee AML compliance and client risk assessments.
• Coach and develop team members at all levels.
