About the Role

The Senior Manager, Performance plays a crucial role in shaping the Performance Strategy across BT, designing and owning the Performance Management portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Advise and support the People & Culture (P&C) Director, Talent, Performance & Culture in setting the Performance Management strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  2. Define principles, frameworks, approaches, and programs to deliver BT's Performance Management strategy, enhancing productivity and fostering a performance culture.
  3. Engage with senior stakeholders, including SLT and ExCo, to gather requirements and drive continuous improvement of performance management processes.
  4. Own the Performance portfolio, ensuring coherence, consistency, and quality of products within the broader P&C function and alignment with BT's goals.
  5. Lead the design, development, management, and maintenance of Performance Management products and programs throughout their lifecycle.
  6. Manage delivery teams, prioritize requirements, and ensure value delivery from Performance Management initiatives.
  7. Monitor and analyze outcomes of performance initiatives, fostering data-driven decision-making.
  8. Stay updated with best practices in Performance Management, benchmarking externally, and introducing improvements.
  9. Collaborate on sourcing strategies and define assessment methodologies for hiring and talent identification.
