Job summary

PwC UK is seeking a pensions consultant to support trustee and corporate clients with outsourced pensions data and benefit services. You will work within PwC's Data, Benefits and Operations (DBO) team delivering data reviews, GMP rectification, equalisation, and AI-enabled solutions, while senior managers lead complex engagements and growth.

You will handle large-scale projects, develop client relationships, and ensure high-quality delivery across governance and risk management, with emphasis on

Qualifications

• Pensions consultant with substantial data and benefits experience in a leading consultancy.
• PMI or Actuarial Qualification (or international equivalent) with pensions knowledge.
• Advanced Excel modelling; familiarity with analytical tools/software is advantageous.
• Excellent client and stakeholder management, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Proven business development capability with a network and proposals/pitches experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex pensions engagements and manage client relationships.
• Oversee delivery teams and ensure governance and quality under pressure.
• Utilise data reviews, cleansing, GMP rectification and equalisation expertise.
• Support business growth through proposals and pitches.
• Deliver high standards of technical accuracy in all workstreams.

Pensions administration is evolving from a back‑office function into a strategic driver of scheme success and improved member outcomes, despite increasing industry pressures. PwC's Data, Benefits and Operations (DBO) team supports trustee and corporate clients by providing outsourced pensions data and benefit services, helping schemes prepare for risk settlement or ongoing management.

About The Role

Pensions administration is evolving from a back‑office function into a strategic driver of scheme success and improved member outcomes, despite increasing industry pressures. PwC's Data, Benefits and Operations (DBO) team supports trustee and corporate clients by providing outsourced pensions data and benefit services, helping schemes prepare for risk settlement or ongoing management. As part of PwC's wider pensions network, the team delivers specialist expertise across data reviews, cleansing, GMP rectification and equalisation, benefit projects, AI-enabled solutions, operational change, governance and risk management. Senior Managers lead complex engagements, manage client relationships, oversee delivery teams, and support business growth and quality

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Significant pensions knowledge and experience in large-scale projects
• Advanced Excel modelling; familiarity with additional analytical tools/software advantageous.
• Excellent client and stakeholder management skills, with strong analytical abilities and excellent presentation and report writing skills.
• Proven business development capability, with a network of contacts and success in delivering proposals and pitches.
